  1. The BLB is definately a step-up from the awful SLB (SM1 Launched Bridge) which was severely unbalanced and whose span length was quite pathetic

  2. You do realise that the Bionix Launch Bridge (BLB) will not have the capability of supporting our Leopard 2A4 MBTs?

    22M MEDIUM ASSAULT BRIDGE
    The Class 30 Medium Assault Bridge is currently in production. It is assembled on Singapore Technologies Kinetics' Bionix Infantry Fighting Vehicle and is adaptable to other light tanks.

    Design features include:

    Telescopic launching girder
    Class 30 aluminium bridge
    Class 60 crossing possible using 2 bridges
    22 m bridge length
    Launch time less than 10 minutes
    No hydraulic parts in the bridge
    Horizontal launching
    Launch-under-armour capability
    System weight MLC 30 using 18t tank
