I think it is a great place for cycling. Lots of dirt trails. And distances too!
You should bring your own bikes. Some of the bikes there are quite screwy from my observation. I saw a few poorly geared ones and some cyclists had problems.
My friend intends to bring his own bike and my initial plan was to rent one. But since he is going to buy a new mountain bike, I think I shall wait for that to happen and I'd rather ride his old mountain bike I guess :)
You know what? Just today I have talked to my good friend to do cycling in Ubin. Neither of us have been there before.
