Sin of a Solar Empire: Screen Captures

An attack on an enemy cruiser from the tutorial.

Planetary Bombardment.

All the cats are back including the Persian. It is strange. Where were they yesterday?

Short local Females with fat Thighs

Quoting SH's SMS message:

'I wish short local females with fat thighs wouldn't wear hot pants...there were a few.'

Hilarious!
This is most intriguing. The stray cats at my office premises have vanished. Six out of seven. The day guard's Persian cat has vanished too. What happened last night?
Is there anyone out there who wants to rent 6,414 sq ft of warehousing space? Anyone?
I am interviewing drivers this morning. I need a driver with a class 3 licence. Heh.

How do you recover overdue debts of $125,000?
Unhappy Japan

Japan is apparently a very unhappy place. In a Discover report on a recent study, Japan is ranked 90th:

"Japan's ranking (90th) was surprisingly low given its high scores for health, wealth, and education. White suspects cultural factors may be at work. Some researchers speculate that a focus on competition and a tendency to downplay enjoyment may contribute to low reported happiness among some Asian cultures."

Denmark is ranked 1st. Iceland is ranked 4th which is not surprising giving its 'party culture' too.
Bahrain Grand Prix

Hamilton finished 13th. Hohoho! Splendid splendid. Quite a few people I know dislike him for his arrogance.

Singapore Fashion Festival

I didn't see much coverage of the Singapore Fashion Festival in the local media. Anyway, the German Stern magazine has a pictorial. Heh.

I did see models parading down a cakewalk at the atrium at Marina Square a week ago.
David Hockney

It appears that some David Hockney works will be displayed at the FOST Gallery at Kim Yam Road this month. I had seen some of his inkjet printer works exhibited in an old mill (Salts Mill in Saltaire) in Yorkshire in the mid-nineties. This should be interesting.

He is considered to be part of the British Pop Art movement.

The Drone Operator

This evening, I had the following scores operating drones. 4:0, 9:1 and 5:1.
Firstly, an flying explosive drone, then a mini-gun tracked drone and finally a four-barrelled mortar tracked drone.

The mortar tracked drone was breathtaking in its destructive power but I would have to learn to aim with it.

At the Frontlines

I have been playing Frontlines for the last few weeks and it is great! I once cleared a position in the Village map with a sniper rifle. 9 kills at least. One kill after another!

In the Roundabout map last night, I got over 10 kills with a mini-gun drone. There was one night, I placed the mini-gun drone on top of a building and dominated a position with over 10 kills.

In the Solar map last night, I got 2 kills with a pistol, 2 with landmines, 4 with the sniper rifle, 2 with the rocket launcher. 10:8. Heh. Funny! Pistol kills!

Meanwhile, I am learning to fly the helicopters.

A new lease of life for Battle Stations. I upgraded my Cargo Dirigible by two levels and I fitted a new meleé weapon: the pile driver.

Suddenly, my ship is very competitive again.
