An idiot from NTUC Income

I received a call from NTUC Income. I asked her if it were a sales call. She said it wasn't and that it was about getting an extra hundred dollars and she wanted to share how one could do that. This is yet another euphemism, much like that of the idiot who called from Prudential a few days ago. I told her that she lied and goodbye. Misrepresentation is the norm for these sales folks these days.

I love the look of glee on her face as she sat on the swing. It was a precious moment. That look of pure joy.

No father figures

No father figures, no authority figures please. No thanks. Not for me. However, I do recognise that some people need leaders and feel better with those figures. Good for them then.

An idiot from Prudential called. I asked her if it were a sales call. She said it wasn't and that it was a servicing call. Then, she proceeded to ask if I had a certain kind of Medishield coverage. How on earth is this not a sales call? 'Servicing call' is an euphemism. I told her that she lied and goodbye. Misrepresentation and lying seem to be the norm for these sales folks these days.

I have visited the one at Bovington thrice and it was wondrous. My next plan would be to visit the French Tank Museum at Saumur.
