I have finally read the new 'Asterix and the Picts' volume by Didier Conrad who did the Illustrations and Jean-Yves Ferri who wrote the text. The new writer and illustrator did a creditable continuation. It may not have hit the heights of the 'Mansions of the Gods' but it was enjoyable and funny with familiar humour.
It is a worthy addition to the Asterix canon.
