I wish the National Library in Singapore would open on public holidays

I wish the National Library in Singapore would open on public holidays and have longer operating hours in the weekends.

As it is, I work a 5.5 day week. My weekend only really begins on Saturday afternoon. The library closes at 9:00 pm. When I arrive there after some rest sometimes after dinner, there would barely be any time to browse. I wish the library would close at midnight on weekends.

Metropolys

Terence was swift in seizing opportunities.

Given the power of the card that I was holding, it was to no avail in the second game.

I would like to play 'Metropolys' again. Somehow, some of the cards had to be adjusted. Ideas?

Accident

I heard a car smashing into a bus which had run a red light this morning at Thomson Road, a loud audible bang. I saw that the fronts of the car and bus were smashed with debris everywhere. Fortunately, both drivers appear to be alright.

I liked the cover art of this game, 'Metropolys'. This was one of Nikki's new purchases.

It was not a heavy game, but rather, a fast playing bidding game which required a fair amount of thought. It was easy to makings mistakes and giving the game away.

Chew Ming had thought that some of the cards were too powerful and unbalanced the game. I would not disagree. However, the game was fun!
