Wow! According to a Times report, Martin O'Neill has ruled himself out. This is indeed getting very interesting.

Martin O'Neil has not totally rejected but if not then Fabio Capello could be a good choice. However, the Italian might have a hard time choosing those overpaid, unskilled English players though.

Ahh... So, there is a chance of O'Neil coming on board.

Capello. He has an awesome record but he will find it difficult like you said to train unskilled English players. Besides, he is probably more used to the continental scene. A more tactical environment rather than one of hard-running. Besides, it is said that he doesn't speak English. That can be a problem as he cannot address press conferences and so forth.

I think Fergie will make a good England manager.

As for Alan Shearer, noooooo!

I doubt Fergie wants the job and if the takes on the job then Premier League will be boring to watch.

Alan Shearer has not proven himself yet and I don't think he is qualify at this time.
