I'm glad to see these quotes and to know someone else has picked up this great little book. I actually bought another copy to send to a dear friend and he's very happy with it.

It is not easily to understand. The context of Marcus Aurelius' times are indeed a world away.V, I would have thought that given the popularity of Ridley Scotts' 'Gladiator', well, 'The Meditations' would be a lot more well-known. Heheh.
