It would appear that Obama would be the next president of the United States. It was quite evident even in the early days. Still, it remains to be seen.

Still a bit close to call but if he wins I doubt there will be much change.

I prefer a woman in power for once in the USA. Just to wind the men up.

P/s: especially those in the middle east.

Actually, I don't think there will be much change whether Clinton, McCain or Obama wins.

I remember that Bill Clinton had a budget surplus which I think is a good thing for the USA. If Hilary Clinton continues this policy of budgetery prudence, well, that should be good.

As for winding the men up in the Middle East, yeah! Hahahahahaha. Hilarious. Imagine what the Imans, Ayatollahs will have to say to the leader of the 'Great Satan'. Do bear in mind that Pakistan and a few other states with mostly Muslims have had female rulers.

Female rulers in muslim world are very few. The last one was killed in Pakistan.

Philippines is not a muslim country and Indonesia had one.

Whether Obama or Clinton is the nominee, it's the Democrats' election to lose. Obama has tapped into a tremendous desire in the USA for a new direction, for someone to believe in as our leader. You better believe there's going to be change, and who better to usher it in than a minority. Whichever of the three ultimately wins, the only way from here is up.
