On the end of subscriptions

My McAfee subscription ran out today! Good riddance. It is time to remove that confounded programme and install another anti-virus package.

Likewise, I have replaced my Forbes magazine subscription with National Geographic. Anyway, when it comes of business magazines and news publications, my rankings in order of merit and interesting articles are as follows:

1. Financial Times
2. Wall Street Journal
3. Bloomberg Markets
4. Businessweek
5. Fortune
6. Forbes

*The Economist is not exactly a business publication in the strict sense, hence, I didn't rank it.

What about The Daily Dilbert? Surely, it is the bestest source for any business related matters out there!

Good one but Dilbert's more suitable as "Human Resource Management" material.

Getting rid of Forbes is a rational choice. I think it's just a platform for the Republicans. I don't like my business news to be overly tainted. Although I must say I enjoyed the articles by LKY and Paul Johnson. Subscription isn't expensive but time spent reading Forbes can be a waste.

I still enjoy Times.

BusinessWeek used to rank quite high in my list. After they killed the BusinessWeek Asia Edition, I stop reading it.

I dumped free AVG and Avast for Kaspersky.
