Some of the prices seem bloody inflated! $800 for a IR emitter??? $72 for gloves??? Sometimes I wonder if all the '3G' gear for our own boys is a bit too much as well. They'll die if they run out of AA batteries.

It does, doesn't it? If they are meant to be off-the-shelf stuff, they are certainly expensive.

I know that ICs with military-specifications were ten times more expensive than regular ones. EMP-resistant, etc. That was twenty years ago when I was doing my electrical engineering undergraduate studies. Heh. Still, if these are military specced stuff, I really don't think they are expensive.

Yeah, if they are out of AA batteries, they are in dipshit...
