A schizophrenic rarity

After hearing Feltsman and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra perform Sergei Prokofiev's rather schizophrenic and at times violent, Piano Concerto No. 1 in D flat minor op 10. at the Esplanade a week ago, I decided to give it a look at the racks at That CD store at Great World City and Borders last night. Fruitless. Well, this piece appears to be somewhat obscure. Hmm..

I'm listening to him right now, thanks for the link. The wonderful thing about blogs is you never know what you'll learn next!

It was my first time too. It was quite out of the ordinary to say the least. It would appear that Prokofiev wrote it to shock.

Blogs! Indeed. Well, I don't know sometimes, I see too many self-absorbed 'Me Me Me' blogs with people engrossed in consumerism with their Nike purchases, ipods and all that. I have almost given up when it comes to reading most blogs. Art blogs are different of course.

I just stick to the art, writing and photo ones most of the time. I've seen the ones you are speaking of. They depress me.
