7 sinkings. Not too bad for a couple of minutes.
I got sunk a couple of times too.
Fun fun. I find that the fun bit isn't simply levelling fast. I want to build a powerful ship with the right equipment. I will be slowing my levelling and earning gold and resources first.
Meanwhile, Siu Hean and Kuoby are doing really well too. The former is level 33 or 34. Kuoby is a couple of levels lower. Nose has overtaken me.

I'm level 34 now too. Depending on what you are playing, it seems that you will either have an excess of XP or an excess of EQ.
Gearing is definitely important but your base class seems to influence your style a great deal too. Pirates like me like to get sunk, accumulate lots of AP's then blow everyone else out of the sky.
You're actually 10 levels ahead of me.
I have decided against fast levelling. I just wanted to have fun. ie Sinking ships
Thus, I have slowed my levelling considerably.

I have been fast leveling BY sinking ships.
That's why I am not going to sink ships anymore. I want more money and resources before I level.
