Mimi with a myna

My mischievous cat, Mimi, caught a myna today. He was meowing loudly to everyone, proud of his new toy. To my astonishment, the myna sprung up in a split second and flew off when I approached. The myna was playing dead all along!

OT: I ordered the first two volumes of Fortescue's History of the British Army that you posted a link to awhile back. Unfortunately one of them, from the aptly named "Lost Books", never arrived. And of course it is the rarer of the two, dealing with the Restoration (or the ECW?) up through the War of the Spanish Sucession. There are numerous copies of the second part available.

Since I got a full refund including the shipping cost, I assume they never sent it in the first place.

Heheh, Andy, my other cat is much more fearsome, she has killed at least five birds in the past two years.

Andy, did you order the Fortescue books from the Naval Institute Press? I don't recall listing them to be frank.
