Yes Anonymous, Italy is only marginally better. In the preceding rounds, they did also scrape through quite a few matches. Supporting Italy is like having a constant heart attack. Hahahaha. Yeah, I love the headbutt episode! That was simply too funny. Way to go Zindane!
Colin, agreed man! We need more Cantona kung fu kicks, Zindane headbutts and Rivaldo playacting! WOO HOO!
Scott, yes, the USA did tie Italy. It was quite a brave performance where the Americans played their hearts out.
NFL? When I was living in California in the mid-eighties, I have never been able to finish watching a single match before giving up out of sheer boredom. I used to play NFL games on the computer in the mid-eighties and I enjoyed it because of the strategies involved. However, that did not translate to watching it. I did enjoy ice-hockey and a few NBA matches but I got bored quickly. I remember the Lakers (Johnson) and Celtics (Bird) rivalry. As for baseball...

Italy's victory good for the world economy, says a Bloomberg report in March:

Italy was marginally better and most importantly they managed to score all the penalties.
But the headbutting episod was rather funny really.
I think a Cantona Kung Fu kick would be better.
d;-)
USA tied Italy. I have heard that makes us co-winners.
Just kidding.
I'm curious what your take on American football (NFL) is.
Jaxon, I am surprised. I can't believe it.

Watching baseball is like watching paint dry. Playing is fun though.
