Kung Fu Panda

I watched this at Prince cinema at Shaw Tower at Beach Road last night. Kung Fu Panda is essentially Balls of Fury in a panda suit. Enigmatic and wise oriental masters, incompetent and fat disciples, fearsome cruel enemies, silly trials of strength. Heheh. It is funny and enjoyable while one watches it but utterly forgettable upon leaving the cinema. However, I think Kung Fu Panda will have staying power in the sense that years later, it will be far more watchable than say, Toy Story 1 and 2 with their period-specific pop culture references though those two can be watched and enjoyed without understanding the referential aspects. Oh sit on till the end of the credits for a little surprise. 5/10

Guess what?! I actualy want to catch this cartoon but Cynthia doesn't. At times (especially when you have a busy or bad week), all you need is something light and funny.

Hahaha, you know what? I wasn't interested but my friend was. She dragged me to watch Horton hears a who the last time. So, of course, I am happy to oblige her. It makes her happy. And I enjoyed it too. Without her, I generally won't touch these Dreamworks or Pixar cartoons. Hehehe. Yeah, I know what you mean, something light and funny, like like... Balls of Fury! Hahaahah.

Oh dear, Bea doesn't like scary stuff, so, I won't be watching 'The Happening' with her.

So, have you watched this yet? Did Cynthia like it?

Ahh... a Dreamworks and Pixar fan then?
