He invented the Internet

"During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet" Gore said when asked to cite accomplishments that separate him from another Democratic presidential hopeful, former Sen. Bill Bradley of New Jersey, during an interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN on March 9, 1999.

If Gore did invent the Internet, why are there 3 Ws whenever you type in an URL? For e.g. www.whitehouse.gov. It is clear, George W Bush, invented the Internet.

Heheheh!

Well, Gore is now saving the environment for the UK. He is clearly a superhero!

George W Bush himself made the comment about the 3 Ws during his campaign against 'Re-Count' Al Gore.

Anyway, it is my opinion that the environmentalists - like Al Gore - have a point. No creature can continually take from the environment without putting its own survival at stake in the end.

We may still be able to arrest and subsequently reverse some environmental damages starting from now, or we can stick our head into the ground in self denial and let Gaia achieve a new equilibrium - perhaps one where the Homo Sapiens would join the dinosaurs, wolly mammoths and dodo birds - on its own.

You are absolutely right about the climate.

Have you looked at Tim Flannery's 'The Weather Makers'? It makes for compelling reading. I think it is well worth reading.

As for Gore, maybe he has a record, maybe he hasn't. I don't know if he really understands or is merely riding on the bandwagen to score political points. He did make a movie. I haven't been following his campaign or Bush's. You are a lot better informed on the state of their campaigns, their speeches, etc.
