Immolation

10cm x 21cm. Pigment Ink. Faber-Castell technical pens. Figure is based on someone I know but I credit him with too much chin. The real person has a soft chin. The lighting and shadows are interesting to do as the fire is burning from the feet.

Grisly but so well done! You know I love seeing great pen work--black and whte especially. I'm so glad you continue to draw Chuang!

Thank you Steve. I was just amazed to see your rendition of a strange furry entity on your blog. I love that drawing. The clean lines, the chaotic furry texture! You live a life of art and I can say that I am only too envious!

Tim, when are you going to do your next Superhero image? Where is Ironman? Where is the Fantastic Four? Where are those classic Marvel Superheroes of yesteryear? The ones we grew up with?

And do draw a Focke Wulf FW-190! I would love to see that! And also the Tiger I!

Am not sure if you've seen the coffee table book on public execution at Kinokuniya's main store? it's at the current affairs section along the main aisle. I thought it's strange that I saw your line art and then it appears to corroborate with the images in that book.

Btw, are you into Maschinen Krieger ZbV 3000?

No, I have not seen the book you mentioned at Kinokuniya. Sounds like a disturbing book!

Maschinen Krieger ZbV 3000? It's the one where they have German mechas in an alternate World War II type world? Spherical mechas with legs?
