The Tower of the Queen Revisited

This is a coloured version of my original homage to Terry Gilliam's film 'The Brothers Grimm'. For this, I scanned the original image, following that, I printed a smaller version using a cheap Lexmark inkjet. I used Copic markers to ink the image.

And the road just leads to nowhere
The stranger in the door is the same as before
So the question answer's nowhere"

It's fun to see some color in your work! It shows your inkwork in an entirely new way...I really like the bit of blue on the clouds:>

Thanks Carla,it was supposed to be a combination of various shades of blue and green hues but somehow the greens and yellows overwhelmed the sky, hence the little bit of blue there.

I find colours to be extremely fun to do, especially when they are on a larger scale when using Copic markers.

Tho I'm not an art person, I find that your drawings are very serene.. somehow they give me the old Western style kinda impression? Ah. Awesome. =).

Thanks Muchakucha. I am glad you find a feel of serenity in them.

Western style? That's indeed an unusual comment which I haven't heard. The ones I have her pertains to fantasy generally. I guess the recent locomotive illustration must have created a strong mental association?

This drawing was inspired by the fabulous Terry Gilliam film 'The Brothers Grimm'. It is a tribute to his vision.

Thanks Merv. I do want to but I have been rather lazy. And I have been playing the Age of Empires III of late. And Battlefield 2 when I can. I have been reading too. Thus..

Thanks Alina. Colours are great fun?
