The Cosmopolitan

The old landmark of the Times House is no more, not that there is much to remember and not that anyone really cares. An ugly (not merely aesthetic) symbol of Singaporean media, the state-controlled newspapers. Ack. I don't think anyone is sorry to see the Times House go. Fittingly enough, in its place, the Cosmopolitan, a new condominium development at the junction of River Valley Road and Kim Seng Road, is now arising from the ashes of the ugly Times House.

The new condominium development.

Yes, you're right. The old Times House was a visual atrocity with its greenish-yellow tiles and a non-working digital clock tower.
