South Koreans punting long balls into the penalty area? Rather silly against a taller team.
And it does not help their cause when they can't do accurate passes. That's why someone like David Beckham is worth his weight in gold to the team.

The Koreans were lucky last night after Togo got a man sent off. There was a big contingent of Koreans watching this at Fort Canning last night. The Korean association set up a big screen there.
Ditto over here. The match was shown on a large projection screen at the student union. I think over 90 percent of the viewers were Korean.
That's amazing.
What of Iranians? Were there many Iranians at the Iranian matches? Did anyone organise anything?
On a tangent, I recall meeting two Iranian students in the summer of 89 in university. A good friend from the UAE introduced them. The first word they uttered to me? "See those American blond pussies?" EEK. Do people go up to others and express their lust for blond American girls? Anyway, the incident was imprinted in my mind forever...
