Drat! My reservist training programme is out. I'm joining a new unit in less than two weeks' time. And I will be doing the same thing over again. Stuff that I had done before. Why why why?
Sheer boredom.
Low-key programme which does not count towards my total number completed anyway. What a bloody waste of time.

I think they want you to join the Army permanently. Or at least motivate you to do so ... you have too judging from your "friendly neighbours" in your region.
Guess at your age you might just want to sit down and relax. But I am afraid that will not be the case. Too difficult with your two big neighbours around ... hooligans they are too.

Hahahahah. Yes, the neighours have been political bullies. Thailand over the Shin Corp affair. Indonesia over an extradition treaty. It's ghastly.
At my age, it is a lot more difficult like you said. Sadly.
