The classic wheeled Soviet 8 x 8 armoured personnel carrier of the Cold War. Large numbers of the BTR-60 remains in use worldwide. Its later derivatives, the BTR-70, BTR-80 and BTR-90, are also in widespread use. The BTR-60 saw action in many conflicts around the world and has proven to be versatile.
