In a Lonely Place

Amidst the silent rooms, she stumbled upon a place of unease...

"The lies you tell
Aren't meant to deceive
They're not there
For me to believe
I've heard
Your vicious words
You know by now
It takes alot to see me hurt"
'Dangerous' Depeche Mode

I love drawing chairs, too. I like how your perspective keeps drawing the eye back. Very nice sketch. You ask if I was going to upgrade from Painter 8 to Painter 9, I may, I haven't decided. Painter 9 looks like it has some nice features, I'm just not sure there is enough change that I want to upgrade yet.

It reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. Very cool

Thanks Alina. I used to draw rooms with chairs and things when I was a teenager. I used to doodle in class quite a bit. This is pretty much like what I did when I was in school. This piece was triggered by a few photos I saw online and that reminded me of those old drawings.

Jacquelynn, indeed. The tools in Painter 8 is so diverse and it would even take a lifetime for one to master if not familiarise oneself. I am grappling with the myriad options even now.

Thanks Isa. Appreciate your comments.

Hi Holly! EEP! I think I shall pass on the tagging business? I think the drawings tell so much more about a person than even a number list of ten items? Similarly, writing too.
