Monstrosity

Who are the urban planners who planned and approved this eyesore behind the city hall? A visual atrocity. Simply unbelievable.

Sweeeet!

I have never looked at city hall from this angle, it looks like a recreation of a scene from independence day!

Indeed. It appears vulgar to me.

It may have seem clever when one is sitting bored in a meeting room when doing urban planning but seriously!

It destroys the skyline right there. A majestic building is now reduced to a Hollywood movie parody.

Hmmm. I don't think it's that bad if you look at it from another perspective. Doesn't the UFO building looked like the kind of imaginations that kids in the 70s and 80s would draw during art classes - especially when asked to draw their future Singapore.

Seeing such images being realised shows the coming of age of the generation that dreamed about it.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind!

Yes, from the other side, well, it's just another building.

I am sure you have been to the Chinese restaurant at Prima Tower? That was a revolving restaurant housed on top of a cement factory near Pasir Panjang!
