Beowulf .5This is an aquaintance's Beowulf .5 rifle. What is it? It is essentially a M16 with a new upper receiver and barrel giving it a capability to shoot 12.7mm rounds. I guess if I can own firearms in Singapore, I will love to have this.
I have another aquaintance online who was selling the .458 SOCOM rifles. Like the Beowulf, it is an M16 with a capability to shoot .458 SOCOM rounds. From what I have heard, it is extremely effective and have been used against Islamic insurgents in Iraq. In one instance, a single round hit the buttocks of a terrorist, destroying his lower torso. Needless to say, the terrorist subsequently died.

Merv, 12 rounds per mag. It uses normal M16 mags. Instead of 30 5.56mm rounds, you load 12 rounds.

That round is a frickin hand cannon! I know what my 30.06 can do to a deer, and can only imagine what a hunk of lead that big can do.

Scott, he's American. It's almost certain death penalty here for owning firearms including ammunition. Firing a round from it makes it definite.
Tim, I have read that a lot of these Islamists are doped up. Sometimes, pumping round after round just won't bring them down. After raiding their hideouts, the troops have found drug caches together with vast quantities of firearms, ammunition and RPGs.
Well if you are ever in Detroit we'll do some shooting. It is legal to own any gun that is not full auto. Howitzers, however, are frowned upon by nieghborhood beautification committees. I too have a vast quantity of firearms, ammunition, but no RPG's (at least that I'll admit to ;)).

I heard RPGs are real easy to operate. Heh. Hey, I was taught the use of the Armbrust, a German LAW but I have never fired one. Sigh.....
