The Dolmen

Well, the coloured piece. Done with Copic markers.

Addendum

The original is 17cm x 11cm approximately. I will be resizing this image again. The colours are just conventional for clarity. Extremely conventional. Some finishing is probably needed, however, this piece is done on half a normal A4 photocopy paper. It's somewhat too thin. I will see what I can do.

Awesome work here! Just saw the initial black and white drawing too, which I like just as well. Good to see your still putting your skills to good use.

If I get some spare time after I finish what I'm working on I should have a bash at making this in 3D !!

Ahhhhh... The coloured piece! What beauty... and I still can't recall where I've seen that. Only difference is the rock/subject at the top is brown and is on flat land...

Nice marker rendering, man...

Yes, the addition of color is excellent.

Color makes all the difference. Excellent.

Thanks V. The colours were totally conventional. Clear blue skies. Bright clear colours. Normally, I guess I would apply a certain hue and colour set.

Thank you Tim.

Thanks Ari. I appreciate your words. I will try to put up more coloured ones in future.

Wow Andrew! It would be very very interesting to see how you translate that into your vision. The detail you are able to put in it. The lighting and photorealism.

I tried my hand at Maya 4.0 and Truespace 3.0 some years ago. I realise it was a whole new art form. I decided against learning it. I have also tried Bryce 3.0 years ago.
