Tribal Wars, World 5

I'm no longer making as much progress as previously. The surrounding villages have built up defences and it is too costly to try to take them. It's a delicate balance of power now. I have been building up my army. I had briefly achieved the top position in the tribe. Now, I'm stuck at rank 31st. Still, an army is more important.

The crowded environs.

I used to play games similar to this.

Mage Wars and another one set in space, which name eludes me now.

What I don't like is that the first mover advantage is very large in these games.

Like in the space one, once you attract the wrong kind of attention, your planets are doomed.

Yes, you are right. The early starter, first mover advantage is very pronounced.

A friend had a 4000-pt village (which is quite large) in a game and he got wiped by someone with a 100,000-pt village.

And these games, if you were starting in a new world, is also very dependent on the amount of time you choose to spend. ie spending 7-10 times a day launching attacks and building.

So, obviously, the 16-year old kid would do really well. Likewise, RPGs or MMORPGs too.

I'm sooooo tempted to start Vanguard.

Are you playing any MMORPG by any chance?
