I'm currently reading 'Indian Castles 1206-1526: The Rise and Fall of the Delhi Sultanate' and 'Russian Fortresses 1480-1882'. Both books are by Konstantin S. Nossov.
Both books feature splendid photos and are lavishly illustrated. Intriguing stuff.
