The Fort Canning Tunnel replaces the ugly red pile of bricks formerly known as the National Library which some diehard losers wanted retained. Phew! Thank goodness the government was not swayed by such stupidity. There are some monuments with historical significance that are worth preserving and the old worthless eyesore of a National Library was not one of them. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
