Funny you should ask. Heheh. Yes I do. I have an old ballpoint pen sketch of a samurai lined up for tomorrow and a few more of various figures lined up over the next few days I think. I have posts in draft form lined up till the end of the month.
Mind you, they are figures, not 'characters' as in cartoons or comics. I mean, I didn't attach an identity to them.
I try to post once a day, well, sometimes, I am not very disciplined, thus, I ended up with three posts.
Phew! I guess I am fortunate. Hey, they are now flaming you, aren't they? I saw that on several places. Like you said, they are rabid.
I was involved in many flame wars about twelve years ago. So, I am I am pretty hardened by now. It is not something that I have not seen before. Thus, my lack of concern at being flamed.
Well, regarding landscapes, I was hiking a lot in the Yorkshire Dales, the Pennines and a few other places a decade ago. I would usually just bring a map and a sketchbook along but it was really too cold to sketch. My fingers would freeze.
lucky you! My dad said I must be 21 before I can go hiking on my own.. 3 more years. :/
Ah, I mean characters as in humans/animals. I don't understand why people name their characters and give them identities, etc. Not that I disapprove, but I just wouldn't do it myself.
I know a number of animators, designers and artists in my previous line of work. Some were doing character design. That was quite something. Interesting to say the least.
Well, for me, I haven't done character design because I am not an animator or comic book artist. Thus, I guess my direction veers...
As for hiking, well, in Singapore, it is somewhat difficult as the jungles are hot, humid and are filled with mosquitoes!
It may be cold in, say England, but it is actually quite pleasant. And the places one visits, it's inspiring! At least to me, it is. Heh.
