'Mars Polaris' Tangerine Dream

I have been listening to Tangerine Dream's 'Mars Polaris' CD when I wake up every morning.

I don't know why but it seems right.

Indeed indeed. They have so many periods and styles. Simply amazing. I would love to see them in concert. Have you ever?

Tyger tyger burning bright
in the forests of the night...

Beautiful take on the William Blake poem. That is such a haunting album.

Logos.. I was listening to Poland recently.

Oh, did you know that Paul Haslinger did the score for the movie 'Underworld' (not soundtrack)? I should find that one.

On another note, did you know that the Dead Can Dance are getting back together?

I heard this bit of news but beyond that I haven't heard anything else.

I thought Dead Can Dance was already back, because they did a show here not too long ago. I didn't go but was surprised to see them touring.

I'm looking for the CD "Garden of the Arcane Delights". This was the first EP I bought on vinyl from DCD and right now I'm searching for it on CD.

V, you're right. I would have love to see them 'live'. You're so lucky! You have all these opportunities to catch Depeche Mode, Dead can Dance, Book of Love and more!

'Garden of Arcane Delights'? I am not familiar with that one.

Andrew, they have performed live shows of late. Perhaps, there may yet be another album. After all, Lisa Gerrard has been busy doing soundtracks...

I've checked their discography and they don't seem to mention this release. I remember it had four songs on it.

Sorry you don't get to see the shows. I don't go to ALL of them. The good thing is that most of these bands release their live shows on DVD now. I know it's not the same thing, but it's close.

Yes, you are right. Many of them have live DVDs now including Dead can Dance and others.

I am looking for the Human League, Dead can Dance, Tangerine Dream, Hooverphonic ones. Covenant and De/Vision would be nice but I doubt if I can get them in this part of the world.

I need to find this one--never seen it in stores (I know they've got a zillion releases). I finally bought "Zeit"--their first very electronic, ambient cd--has a very "deep space" feel to it, good stuff.
