More on the Hizbollah UAVs

Images of several Hizbollah UAV shot down has been available on a blog some time ago.

"Endorsing the Hezbollah UAV capability, Hezbollah secretary general Hassan Nasrallah claimed in a speach in April 2005 that these unmanned vehicles can be packed with 40-50 kg of explosives to attack priority targets deep inside Israel."

Addendum

The UAV was apparently shot down with a Python 5 AAM. That's a heatseeker with a seeker that is so sensitive that it could apparently detect a UAV.

If they've got balls for brains, then they just might. And start off another conflagration where nobody wins and everyone loses.

The Hizbollah are pretty crafty and they have goals. The Hizbollah know what they are doing and they achieved most of their political goals. What is the death of 500 Hizbollah fighters as compared to achieving their political goals and ensuring mass recruitment and radicalising of thousands?

Considering that their aims are at odds with ours, it would be to their advantage to start another, once the ceasefire has allowed them to re-stock and stockpile longer-ranged rockets and more UAVs.

Appeasing Islamic terror should not be the way to go but what are the alternatives?

The choice is simple if Hizbollah can fight so do others. Bear in mind, our modern civilization is build on past wars. We did not come this far peacefully and we will not move forward with peace as well. We human being are not that good at understanding each others and we love fighting and wars. A natural cycle of culling really.

There is no such thing as rules of war. In all wars the winner(s) dictate the rules and the loser(s) got nothing. That's the only rule.

The moment Iran got their nuclear weapon ready we will see the beginnning of 3rd world war for sure. It's a matter of who pushes the red button first to launch the first nuclear war head.

I guess if there is a 3rd world war then one might consider it as the mother of all wars. By this I mean some nation(s) cannot be inhabitated at all after the detonation due to radiation. So this will truely bring some nation(s) to their knees. The modern weapons are good at destruction and more powerful then anything we have seen so far.

Just like Japan and Germany that tested the patience of the world and eventually were brought to their knees and had to sign up to whatever laid down on them as the losers of the war.

Now this is a new war base on religion and judging from the religous wars in the past this will be long and hard but eventually one will dominate.

Let it rip! Let's get it done and over with.

If one were to resort to genocidal policies, one would become like them. Indiscriminate killing. Some solution must be found. Certainly not appeasement.

From what I can see, Iran will use their nuclear weapons.

Be it nuclear blackmail or war, they will use it. The leverage which such weapons can give.
